After graduating from the University of Central Arkansas in December 2018 with a Bachelor of Arts in Print Journalism, she made the familiar vacation destination her home.
In 2019, she began working for the Hot Springs local newspaper, The Sentinel-Record. Through this post-college job, she got to really know and fall in love with the community. When the time came to part ways with The Sentinel-Record in June 2021, she decided to publish a fresh new community news outlet: The Hot Springs Post. She loves continuing to tell the community's story through this platform, and offer it to the people at no cost.
